The ANMP Rotary Club will meet on Monday, March 13, 2023 at the Table of Grace 365 location, 3845 Doris Lane, Round Rock, TX 78664. Come early at 6:30 p.m. for a social time before our meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
This meeting will be a potluck - let’s all bring a side dish, salad, or bread to share. We will not have a speaker. This will be time for focusing on the fundraiser and galvanizing around some service project ideas. Bring a guest! (If you are unable to attend in-person: the Zoom login will be the same recurring login set up for this year's meetings.)
Recap of February Club Meeting
The February 13th ANMP Rotary Club meeting was held virtually. Patrick Harrison and Amber Scarborough, District 5870 Co-Chairs for Public Image, presented a very interesting program featuring the Public Image resources that are available to clubs in our district. The Public Image tab on the District 5870 website provides a variety of reference materials, templates and tips for clubs to use to attract, engage, and sustain members.
It was announced that our club has entered into a partnership with the D5870 eClub for a global grant funding a oxygen generation project for hospitals in Liberia.
Bowl-a-thon registration access is operational and can be accessed via a link on the ANMP website. Members are urged to promote sponsorships and register as individuals or teams for the April 23, 2023 event at Highland Lanes in Austin.
Lone Star PETS Update
ANMP President-Elect Sarah Carriker attended the Lone Star President Elect Training Seminar held at the DFW Hyatt Regency, February 23-26, 2023. Sarah was one of several hundred “PEs” from ten districts that join together each year to conduct training for their incoming club presidents. In addition to the training to prepare for their presidential year, the seminar featured several outstanding plenary session speakers including the RI President Elect Gordon McInally.
ANMP President Dian Edwards also attended and served as a facilitator at breakout training sessions.
Bowl-a-thon Planning
Members are reminded to continue reaching out to potential sponsors and silent auction donations for the 2023 Bowl-a-thon, to be held at Highland Lanes on April 23.

Early Act First Knight Update
ANMP President Dian Edwards and Assistant Governor Joe Dahlstrom attended the EAFK awards and knighting ceremony at the Harris Elementary School on February 16. The character theme celebrated was “confidence.”
