UT Football Game Fundraising

So far in September, our club has helped collect parking fees at two home UT football games. This is a great fundraising opportunity for our club, and it's fun too!

If you're volunteering for upcoming games (keep an eye out for emails from Chris Kaiser), here are the details:

Where:              Medical Arts Square, 2911 Medical Arts St. (Park here! Just tell them you’re a volunteer to park for free)

When:              Usually around 3 hours before kickoff

What:              Taking cash for parking passes, and/or directing cars to open spots

How:                2-3 hour shifts, with 10 minute breaks as needed in air-conditioned cars. We also have shade umbrellas.

The University club will provide water & electrolyte drinks, but you are encouraged to bring your own water, sunscreen & a folding chair if you have one.

We will receive an email 2 weeks before each game soliciting your availability for the next game, and then a few days before the game you will receive a schedule showing exactly when and where you are scheduled.

Hold these dates on your calendar:

Saturday, September 30th vs. Kansas

Saturday, October 28th, vs. BYU

Saturday, November 4th, vs. Kansas State

Friday, November 24th, vs. Texas Tech

Congrats to Sarah C, who was awarded her Paul Harris +2 award this month!
