This project, supported by a District Assistance Program (DAP) Grant, will create a safe and welcoming space for therapy rabbits used in animal-assisted therapy for foster children. Central Texas Table of Grace provides emergency shelter and transitional care for children in the foster system—young people who often carry the weight of trauma, uncertainty, and loss. By helping care for therapy animals, these children gain comfort, trust, and emotional healing—small but powerful steps toward confidence and independence.
🛠 Phase 1: The Build Begins
Our club members came together for a day of teamwork and service—measuring, sawing, and assembling the framework of the new rabbit enclosure. There was plenty of laughter, learning, and community spirit as Rotarians worked side by side to bring this project to life.

The foundation is now set, and Phase 2 will complete the pen in the coming months. In this next stage, the enclosure will be fitted with secure fencing and finishing touches to make it ready for its furry residents. Once complete, the area will feature the Rotary wheel emblem to honor the service and collaboration behind this project.
❤️ Join Us for Phase 2!
We invite community members, families, and friends to join us for the Phase 2 build, coming soon. It’s a wonderful opportunity to serve, connect, and make a direct impact on the lives of children in our community.
Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates, final build dates, and photos from the first phase. Together, we’re building more than a rabbit enclosure—we’re building hope and healing for kids who need it most.
