A Community Fundraiser Benefiting the Play for All Park
Mark your calendars, Round Rock! The Rotary Club of Round Rock Sunrise is bringing something completely unique to Old Settlers Park this fall — Box Wars, a one-of-a-kind community fundraiser where creativity, teamwork, and cardboard collide.
Think "Braveheart" — but friendlier, funnier, and a whole lot more recyclable.
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, participants will build suits of armor and weapons made entirely from recycled cardboard, then face off in team battles at Yonders Point, Old Settlers Park in a safe, family-friendly competition unlike anything you've seen before. Whether you come to compete or just to cheer on your favorite cardboard warrior, this is one event you won't want to miss.
A majority of the funds raised will be donated to the Play for All Park in Round Rock — an inclusive playground designed so that children and families of all abilities have a place to play, connect, and belong right here in our community.
