Throughout the week of October 20–24, students will bring in their pennies and spare change to help support Rotary International’s End Polio Now initiative. Special collection containers will be placed in classrooms, making it easy for students to participate.
On November 3rd, Rotary members will join the students at a school assembly to share how their donations are helping children across the globe. And to make an even bigger impact, the Round Rock Sunrise Rotary Club will match every dollar raised, doubling the contributions from Voigt Elementary!
Polio has been reduced by 99.9% worldwide, but the fight isn’t over. Just 80 cents provides a vaccine that protects a child for life. With the help of Voigt Elementary students, teachers, and families, we are one step closer to eradicating this disease forever.
Together, we can make a difference — because Every Penny Fights Polio!
