The Round Rock Sunrise Rotary Club is proud to announce the completion of assistance for a special service project at Central Texas Table of Grace, a fully enclosed rabbit habitat created to support animal-assisted therapy for children in the foster care system.

What began as a vision by Chantal Servidio at the Table of Grace has now become a beautiful, secure, and welcoming space. The enclosure is fully constructed, painted, and equipped with cages — completely ready for its new residents.

🐰 A Space Designed for Healing

This enclosure is more than a structure — it’s an environment intentionally created for comfort and connection.

Inside the enclosure are secure rabbit habitats, and just outside are comfortable hanging “chill chairs,” offering children a peaceful place to sit, relax, and gently interact with the animals. The calm setting provides an opportunity for children to build trust, develop responsibility, and experience the quiet companionship that therapy animals can provide.

The therapy rabbits are expected soon, as we await the arrival of babies. In addition, a donation of several chicks will soon join the lower portion of the enclosure, adding another nurturing element to the space.

❤️ Service in Action

Rotarians didn’t simply fund this project — they built it. Members worked hands-on to construct, secure, and paint the enclosure, ensuring it would be a safe and lasting resource for the children served by Central Texas Table of Grace.

This project reflects Rotary’s commitment to “Service Above Self.” Together, we have created a space that will offer comfort, connection, and hope to children who need it most.

We look forward to sharing photos of the rabbits’ arrival soon.
